Keeping your costs updated on A2X can be time-consuming. Whenever a cost is added, deleted, or altered, it's crucial to promptly reflect these changes in A2X to maintain the accuracy of cost entries in your accounting system.

One effective time-saving method is to synchronize your SellerVue Account with Google and share a Google Sheet containing the cost data. This ensures that whenever your costs are updated, the changes are automatically reflected in the synced Google Sheet and subsequently in A2X.

Ensure to grant SellerVue access to all relevant personnel within your organization who are tasked with maintaining the accuracy of the cost of goods sold.

Please follow these instructions step by step to link your sheet. Each step is important for the data to be processed correctly by A2X.

πŸ‘‰ Step 1: Sync Your Sellervue Account to Google

Click HERE to navigate to the Integrations Settings in SellerVue, then click the β€˜Google Sheet Integration' Setting to Link accounts'.

πŸ‘‰ Step 2: Create a Google Sheet

Click HERE to navigate to Google Sheets, then click the 'Go to Sheets Button'.

πŸ‘‰ Step 3: Set up your Google Sheet

With SellerVue, all you need to do is create a blank Google Sheet. Later in this tutorial, I'll demonstrate how to obtain the shareable Google Sheet URL. Since we update the costs automatically on a daily basis, all you need is a blank Google Sheet.

If you're already using a Google Sheet, simply paste the edit link found in the search bar.

πŸ‘‰ Step 4: Add the Google Sheet Link to SellerVue

Once you have created your Google Sheet, copy and paste the link found in the search bar.

Then, paste the link into SellerVue. Click over to the Account Settings, then paste the link into the Google Sheet Url section.

πŸ‘‰ Step 5: Create the shareable URL for A2X

When you have created the Google Sheet, you will need to create the URL to copy and paste into A2X. This step needs to be completed only once, and the URL will stay the same going forward.

Click on File in the menu bar > Share > Publish to Web

πŸ‘‰ Step 6: Publish to Web

Select 'Entire Document' and drop down the box that displays Web Page and change to Comma-separated Values (.csv).

Please note these steps are very important, otherwise the auto import process will not work.

Then click 'Publish' and 'ok'

Please note this URL is viewable by any person that has the URL, so please consider your organization's security policies before proceeding.

πŸ‘‰ Step 7: Copy the URL

Copy the URL shown in the red highlighted box below to your clipboard (you can do this by right clicking and choosing Copy, or pressing < Ctrl C >

πŸ‘‰ Step 8: Paste this URL in the highlighted box below into A2X

Firstly login into your A2X account, then select 'Costs' and then 'Cost File (Google Sheets)':

Now, select your Costs Currency then paste your URL.

Please note if the Google sheet is not set up correctly with only two columns named 'sku' and 'cost' or if the URL is not in .csv format, the A2X system will detect this and notify you with an error message to try again.

πŸ‘‰ Step 9: Click on the 'Import Cost File' Button

The import may be immediate or within 24 hours.

πŸ‘‰ Step 10: Check to see if your cost import was successful

Click on the Cost History tab. Please note it may take up to 24 hours for this row to appear as the costs will update at 1am UTC each day. If no row appears after 24 hours, please contact us so we can provide assistance.

Note:

At any point, if you've made changes to the Cost data inside SellerVue, those changes will take effect at 12:08 am UTC on the linked Google sheet automatically.

You can also view the updated Google Sheet with any new costs by clicking the Google Sheet button on the Catalog Page.

However if you need those updates reflected immediately in A2X (rather than waiting for the daily auto-update), you can click the Update Now button.

And note that A2X will update automatically at 1am UTC each day or you can click Import Now for an immediate update.
